South Street— it isn’t just a strip of tattoo shops and cheesesteak eateries.
For those who haven’t been to this booming section of Philadelphia, there are also many places to see live music on this road or a few blocks away.
Whether it’s in a former theater or featured section of a bar, musicians of all types fight tooth and nail to earn a chance to perform at a Philly venue. The rest of us get to sit back and view the final product on stage.
With something musically going on almost every night, there isn’t a bad time to be in South Philly.

Great setup. I love the simplicity of it – easy to navigate and find information. It’s not bogged down. The photo really sets the scene, giving the viewer an idea of where you are talking about. However, the attribution in the caption could be a little more clear. Spell out creative commons and maybe provide links to the license and original posting of the photo.
The content is good, really informs me about the area, however, I think you should have done the live music offerings of the area for the whole weekend or even the next week. (Just in case someone can’t make it last minute or wants to plan ahead or views it the next day.)
